Attention all softball players! Softball tryouts are officially scheduled for March 9th and 10th. Please check in with Mr. or Mrs. Mora, or Mrs. Harthan if you have any questions.
Choir & Spectrum
Interested in singing and performing? Choir auditions for Honor Choir and Treble Choir are happening now through March 30. Auditions can be done before school, after school, or during lunch. See Mrs. Lecholat or a current choir member for more information. Also, Spectrum tryouts will be held Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26 at 7:30 a.m. in the Choir Room, A111. Bring a friend and come check out choir!
Civil Air Patrol Club
A new Civil Air Patrol Club is starting at Sheridan High School. CAP offers opportunities in leadership, aviation, aerospace, emergency services, fitness, and STEM. Meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 3:50 to 4:10 p.m. in Room C216. The club is open to all SHS students. If you have questions or want to learn more, contact Luke Patceg or stop by Room C216.
Yearbook
If you haven’t ordered your 2025–2026 yearbook, don’t wait! The deadline is March 27, and the cost is $76.65. Purchase yours through Infinite Campus in the School Store before time runs out.
Student Council
Interested in joining Student Council? Attend one of the mandatory meetings on March 11 or March 25 at 7:30 a.m. in Room E125. Executive Officer campaigns run March 30–April 2, and Class Officer campaigns will be April 13–16. If you have questions, see Mrs. McCafferty in Room E125.
Internship
Internship applications are due by the end of the day on Friday March 13th. This is a hard deadline so please see Mrs. Richins in C109 if you have any questions.
FFA Congratulations
Congrats to the FFA students for their success at the Regional FFA Leadership Contest. In Prepared Public Speaking, Eleanor Tippin is State Bound. In Extemporaneous Speaking, Bella Dunning earned 3rd place. Great job representing Sheridan High School and good luck to Eleanor at State
