After School Academic Program (ASAP)
Need help with school work? Need to take a quiz or a test that missed? Join us in the library after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Teacher are available to help from 3:35-5:00pm. A snack is provided as well as a late bus option at 4:35pm.
College Connection Center
The rep from Northwest College, Brooke Merkel, will be in the cafeteria during 2nd lunch today! If you are interested in this community college located in Powell, WY, please stop by and visit with her!
Library
Students, the Soaring Eagle Books are now on display in the Library. These are the books that your student peers from around the state, and you, have chosen to be on the ballot this year. Each year, students get to vote on who will be the winner and the runner-up for the Soaring Eagle Book award. Please come vote! Your votes will need to be received by March 10th. Nominations are also open for next years voting.
Winter Semi-Formal
The Winter Semi-Formal is this Saturday, February 4th. Please see Mrs. McCafferty, Mrs. Buell, or Mrs. Hanson for tickets. They are $5.00 per person or $7.00 at the Door, where you will need your School ID to purchase one! The doors to enter the dance will close at 8:30pm. The dance will be dress code enforced (ie. no jeans, etc.) If you have questions about the dress code, please see Mrs. McCafferty.
Future Filmmakers
Attention all Storytellers! The New Future Filmmakers program is starting at the WYO Theater at the end of February and running through March. If you have ever wanted to learn more about all that goes into making a film from the script to the screen – now’s your chance to spend 5 weeks working with professionals on creating your own short film that will premiere in the WYO Film Festival in Fall 2023. Application Deadline for the program is Friday, February 10th. If you want to learn more, you can attend the Info Session on Friday, February 3rd at 4PM at the WYO Theater downtown – or you can contact Drama Coach Grace Cannon-Wallace at gcannon@scsd2.com.
