PRE-K IS FULL FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR!

*** Your child must turn 4 years old by September 15, 2026. If your child is accepted, you will be required to pay a non-refundable program fee of $100 to hold your spot in the Pre-K program. 

Availability:

This program is limited to 24 full-time and 12 part-time children. Part-time Pre-K will be five days a week with hours available in the mornings between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm. Full-time Pre-K will be five days a week available between 7:00 am and 5:15 pm.

Hours of Operation:

This program will offer full-time childcare from 7:00 am to 5:15 pm, Monday through Friday.

Days of operation will match work days for an SCSD2 Teacher (185 days/year) as outlined in the 2026-2027 calendar.

Refunds will not be issued for children that do not attend Pre-K due to vacation or an illness.

Program Vision:

The SCSD2 Pre-K Program supports early childhood education and social-emotional development with a focus on the following:

• Learning through play that is both teacher and child directed
• Introduction to early learning in a fun, engaging and caring environment
• Learning time to enhance development of language, cognitive, and fine/gross motor skills
