Note From Superintendent Rebecca Adsit:
WORKING TOGETHER: UNLEASHING ENDLESS POTENTIAL IN ALL
Dear Sheridan County School District No. 2 Community,
For the past 22 years, I have had the privilege of calling Sheridan County School District No. 2 my professional home. I have walked our hallways as a colleague, a coach, an administrator, and a fierce advocate for our children and staff. As I step into the role of your Superintendent, my heart is filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude, pride, and excitement for what lies ahead.
Because I have worked alongside so many of you for over two decades, I know firsthand what makes this district so extraordinary. We have earned our reputation for excellence, and I know the hard work, the sacrifice, the late nights, and the unwavering dedication it takes from our staff, families, and community partners to ensure the learning of ALL students.
Knowing our district as deeply as I do also means I know a fundamental truth: our greatest asset has never been our accolades or our data. Our greatest asset is, and always has been, our people.
Your child’s education is our highest priority, and true collaboration relies on open communication, so please visit your child’s school and reach out to teachers, administrators, or me if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We all want the very best for our children and look forward to continuing to work with you to unleash their potential.
Gratefully,
Rebecca Adsit
