Homecoming Week is packed with activities! Join us for Powderpuff Football Monday, He-Man Volleyball Tuesday, Burning of the Bronc Wednesday, the Homecoming Assembly Thursday, and volleyball and football on Friday. Permission slips for Monday and Tuesday events are due September 11 by 4:00 PM. Homecoming Dance is Saturday, September 12 from 7:00–10:00 PM! Tickets are $5 pre-sale or $10 at the door. Doors close at 7:30 PM, so don’t be late! Semi-formal attire is required.
Here is the official lineup for this year’s Homecoming Dress-Up Days:
- Monday, September 14th: Adam Sandler Day – Break out your over-sized tees, baggy shorts, and relaxed gear.
- Tuesday, September 15th: 2016/Y2K Day – Dress in your favorite throwback 2000s/2016-inspired style.
- Wednesday, September 16th: Dress to Impress Picture Day! – Dress your best and be ready for school pictures.
- Thursday, September 17th: Color War Day – Show class pride by wearing your assigned color:
- Freshmen: Yellow
- Sophomores: Blue
- Juniors: Pink
- Seniors: White
- Teachers: Black
- Friday, September 18th: Blue & Gold Day – Go all out in full Bronc spirit!

FFA Back to School BBQ!
Anyone interested in FFA who is enrolled in an ag class this school year is invited to the Back to School BBQ on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:00 PM at the Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. Come join us and learn more about FFA!
SHS Flight School
is taking off September 15th and 17th! Join us Thursdays from 3:45–5:00 PM in the library to build and learn to fly radio-controlled aircraft. A late bus is available at 4:35 PM. See Dr. Tom or Danielle Holler for more information.
Faith and Fellowship
Looking for food, faith and fellowship? Come to Mr. Pruitt’s room tomorrow morning at 7:45am for breakfast and Bible Study. Room C 242. All are welcome.
Destination Imagination
If you love creating, building, performing, solving problems, or working with a team, DI has a challenge for you! This year’s challenges include Get Sorted, Under Investigation, Lab Legends, Act Natural, Just Duet, and Game Changers. Come put your creativity to the test, work with friends, and turn big ideas into something amazing. Join DI and be part of the fun!

Fall Track
Open Track will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:45–5:15 PM. If you’re looking for a place to run, train, or get some extra exercise after school, come check it out!
