SCSD2 Public Hearing Notice
Sheridan County School District #2, as a sub-recipient of Sheridan County, is applying for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) through the Wyoming Community Development Authority. As part of the application process, a public hearing will be held to solicit input and feedback from the community.
Purpose of the Hearing
The purpose of this hearing is to gather insight from the community on the proposed project. The scope of work will include the demolition and site clearing of the blighted SCSD2 school facility, located at 1967 W. 5th St., Sheridan, Wyoming.
The scope of work encompasses the physical deconstruction and removal of the entire building structure, its foundation, and all associated materials. All debris will be transported off-site to an approved facility for disposal or recycling. Following the building’s removal, the site will be graded, leaving a safe parcel. This work will be conducted in full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Connor Street, Sheridan, WY 82801). Written comments must be received no later than 10:00 AM on September 15th, 2025 to be included in the official record of the hearing.
