The  Most Recent PAWS Results showed that Coffeen students performed higher than the state average in both reading and mathematics for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.

A summary of 2015 testing performance is presented below:

Reading:

• 80% of 3rd graders tested proficient and above (State average 61%)
• 73% of 4th graders tested proficient and above (State average 60%)
• 81% of 5th graders test proficient and above (State average 59%)

Mathematics:

• 58% of 3rd graders tested proficient and above (State average 49%)
• 70% of 4th graders tested proficient and above (State average 51%)
• 71% of 5th graders tested proficient and above (State average 53%)
