Welcome back to school!
Dear SCSD2 Families,
We hope you had a wonderful summer and we are excited to welcome students back tomorrow, August 26th! Here are a few reminders:
- School Meals: Households can fill out an application for free and reduced pricing eligibility based on household income via the parent portal. If you require a paper copy, please contact your child’s school.
- Transportation: For transportation information such as bus number, stop location, and times, please call 672-3105. Transportation information is also available on our website.
- Registration: If you have not yet completed the annual update for your child(ren), you will find instructions on our registration web page.
- Policy CKA: In response to the Wyoming legislature statutory changes, SCSD2 engaged in the Wyoming rule-making process. This included community input through a listening session, notice publication in the newspaper, an open public meeting, an opportunity to provide feedback on our website, and discussions at board meetings; the SCSD2 Board of Trustees developed Policy CKA – Concealed Firearms. SCSD2’s number one priority is the safety of students and staff. As always, if concerns arise students and staff are to seek out a trusted adult with which to share this information.
