Food Service Update

Dear SCSD2 Parents and Guardians,

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we are seeing nationwide disruptions to school food service manufacturing, supply, and distribution channels. As a result we are experiencing frequent menu changes, reduced menu variety, and changes in meal service options.

Despite staffing shortages and supply chain disruptions, feeding our students well-balanced, healthy meals remains a priority; and every effort is made to communicate menu changes as soon as possible. School menus, including updates, can be reviewed in the attachment below.

The food service industry is predicting that supply-chain disruptions will continue through the end of this school year. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these challenging times.
