At Story Elementary School, our mission of “Inspiring success through leadership – Whatever It Takes” captures not only what we work toward for our students but also our belief as educators to do whatever it takes to help each student. Our location in the small town of Story, Wyoming presents special challenges and opportunities, and we are proud of our unique climate, culture and environment. We pride ourselves on being a closely knit family, and our low student to teacher ratio means our students receive additional support and opportunities that students in larger schools do not. This family atmosphere extends beyond the school as well, and our PTO and surrounding community are very involved in the school. We serve students from Kindergarten through 5th grade with quality academic programs and other activities, and our students have a record of performing well on assessments.
