How do we change vocabulary instruction from boring and ineffective to engaging and meaningful? This session will guide participants in how to plan, teach, and assess vocabulary in primary classrooms based on latest research. Using LA-CCSS and PLC guidance, participants will gain insight into how one school focuses on vocabulary instruction and development. Theory will be connected to practice as resources and videos are shared.
