Session Description: 

How do teachers use technology to individualize instruction and meet the demands of the Common Core in a 21st Century world? By unlocking the potential of technology, participants will have a greater understanding of the global resources available for today’s classrooms. This session demonstrates authentic technology integration to differentiate instruction for every student and increase engagement and achievement. This intermediate session will focus on the blended classroom using Chromebooks, or iPads. Additionally, the use of Google Docs will be explored to increase student collaboration and
opportunities for immediate teacher feedback.

Speaker Bio:

Abby Mowry is currently teaching 5th grade at Sagebrush Elementary.  She is in her 7th year of teaching upper grades with technology integration.  Abby has a Masters in Instructional Technology from University of Nebraska Kearney and was an Instructor for Educational Technology at Northern Wyoming Community College-Sheridan. Abby was recently named Wyoming STEM Educator of the Year.
